Community Art Projects

Previous experience

Teacher training teaching art and design to secondary school pupils. Also had experience of working with Sixth formers at college. Had experience in Ysgol Gymuned Cwm-y-Glo making drawings and paintings of the Welsh landscape with primary children. Did a day's workshop at Capel Berea in Bangor – One world banners using various materials, working with children of all ages and young people.

Teaching Art to Adults at y Caban in Brynrefail and at Ysgol Cwm-y-Glo – night classes. Working with young children, drawing and painting – national play day in caernarfon. Also worked producing painting Mural for community in Bangor – working alongside the council/community first/community police – project with three primary Schools in Bangor based on road safety- held art sessions at the three schools – Hirael, Llandygai and Ysgol Glancegin – also took the school children to the tunnel to paint the mural, project over a period of Months. Art classes with young homeless people in Caernarfon for Gisda over a period of many months, including an exhibiton of their work at the Caernarfon library. Home private tuition for school pupils. Summer 2009 – art workshops with young children at Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw Llanbedrog. In June / July 2010 - designed a logo with Nefyn Primary School children for the Community Hall.
